About Melody Gardner

Melody is all-things fundraising. In addition to being able to raise money for your organization, Melody can also teach you what she knows, so you can, in turn, raise money for your organization. There are seven (for some, eight) ways to secure the capital you need to advance your mission. Melody can teach you which two ways your organization should focus on and perfect over the next decade before introducing one Melody has eighteen years investing, educating and developing young college leaders. She has high energy and is an experienced development professional and consultant, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Melody has twenty-six years working and volunteering in the nonprofit sector. During this time, she has spent twenty-three years in Annual Giving, six years in Major Gifts, five years in successful proposal research and writing and two in Gift Planning. Melody has established skills in strategic fundraising development and implementation; donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship; and professional staff development and collaboration. She can also analyze the viability and sustainability of a nonprofit. Melody has excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills. She has demonstrated ability to relate well and work effectively with multi-generational and cultural philanthropists, leaders and staff. She is also proficient in Microsoft Office and The Raiser's Edge.
