I’m proud to be an L.P.N. with over 22 years of nursing experience with proven increases in PDPM MDS 3.0 and Case Mix Index clinical nursing reimbursement, proven success increasing QM's to increase 5 Star ratings, Clinical Chart auditing for survey, Resident Care Plans and Conferences that meet CMS requirements. I’ve been extensively trained in skilled nursing documentation and ICD-10 coding for records review, positive survey results and reimbursement. I maintain strong technical and clinical skills for educational and survey preparation with an emphasis on proficiency in nursing documentation and maximizing reimbursement rates. Educational skill education for increased communications with facility departments, staff education to raise ADL scores, coding and skilled documentation to provide positive outcomes during ADR reviews and surveys. I’ve had on going education and experience in chart audits to ensure compliance is met for survey readiness and financial reimbursement is met. Experience in development and implementation of Care Plans with ongoing audits to ensure resident’s preferences, requests and needs are met. I’ve worked mainly in skilled nursing and have experience as a physician’s office nurse, wound care nurse, unit manager as well as an ADON. I have a strong belief in providing a team atmosphere to encourage and support others to be the best they can for not only themselves but for patients, families and coworkers as well.
