I became a nurse because I am passionate about serving people. In every role, this is my why and passion. Through nursing, I was introduced to IT and discovered a new passion, using technology to improve processes and evolve healthcare. In my previous role as IT Manager at OSF HealthCare, I led a team of application system analysts, overseeing the implementation and support of IT applications that enhance patient experience, access to care, and facility throughput. I am accustomed to managing high-risk projects and proactively mitigating risks to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. My expertise in aligning technology solutions with business needs, combined with my experience working directly with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, aligns with the strategic goals of healthcare organizations. I bring a unique combination of clinical insight and IT project management experience, including my background as a Nursing Informatics Specialist, where I played a pivotal role in designing and enhancing clinical information systems to improve patient care. My ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and clinical leaders allows me to foster collaborative environments that drive successful outcomes and continuous improvement.
