About Melu Lawrence

With over 20 years experience in the Marketing and Financial Services Industry, my work has included strategic planning and implementation of marketing activations, sponsorships, product launches, road shows, stakeholder and media relations, corporate social investments, communications and social media support and training. Over the years I have come to understand the various market segments and client life cycle and the support required to market financial services. Working in the corporate environment has taught me collaboration, team work but more importantly to learn as much as I can from my peers. In my role of Marketing Support to Financial Intermediaries I have mastered the art of juggling multiple projects. I have learnt to be flexible and adaptable to last minute opportunities that arise. Through sponsorships and corporate social investments I have worked with Professional Associations, Tertiary Institutions, Business Chambers, Government Departments and the Private Sector.
