About Meni Sarris

I love building programs, solving problems and getting the right people in the right place. But for me, education isn't just about enrollment numbers, profitability metrics or offering the latest trendy certificate — it's about impacting entire communities by getting people into great jobs through non-traditional approaches. I'm the founder of the Spur Group of companies, working with ambitious higher ed institutions from across the country who are looking for new strategies in program development, organizational optimization and other special projects. In this work, I've come to be regarded as one of the leading experts in education beyond the traditional degree model, with a full roster of past clients, programs and playbooks for continuing education, adult learning, workforce development, certificates and more. Pre-Spur, I was a dean/director at a number of leading educational institutions and was hand-picked to be an in-house strategy consultant for a leading educational technology company. This work created some of the fastest growing CE programs of all time, for both four-year and two-year institutions. However, I got my start as a CE program coordinator, and will never forget my roots. In fact, it fuels my passion for the world of higher ed because I love building programs, solving problems and getting the right people in the right place — just like I did when I started in this industry more than 25 years ago. Which brings us back to where it all starts. Want to chat? meni@spur.group
