About Meredith A. Bailey

Dr. Meredith Bailey is a general dentist and practices as an associate while also working full time as a clinical faculty member at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bailey is the current Immediate Past President of the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), past chair of the American Dental Association (ADA) Council on Ethics, Bylaws and Judicial Affairs and past chair of the ADA CL2 leadership group, comprised of ADA Council chairs and vice chairs. She serves on the ADA Standards Committee on Dental Informatics Working Group 13.8 on Augmented Intelligence and contributed to a whitepaper on dental imaging and AI published in 2023. Dr. Bailey completed her Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Sector Management from the Boston University Questrom School of Business in 2023. She also served on the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine alumni board of directors for six years. Dr. Bailey grew up in Richmond, Virginia and received her pre-doctoral education from James Madison University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology and a minor in English. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bailey is a fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. She received the MDS William McKenna Volunteer Hero award, the MDS Ten under 10 award, and the Incisal Edge 40 under Forty award. Dr. Bailey has served on numerous councils and committees within organized dentistry on the national, constituent, and component levels. She is a founding member of the 14th District in Massachusetts, the Boston District Dental Society, and served as District Chair from 2018-2019.
