About Meredith Berlinsky

I am a multi-generational Charleston native with a loyal love for my city and its people. I was born at Roper Hospital and a graduate of Wando HS, TTC, MUSC, and The Citadel, with aspirations of completing my Doctorate. My major education accomplishments include a Masters in Project Management and a Bachelors in Healthcare administration and Education which has led me to my current role as Pain Management Supervisor at St. Francis Hospital and Neurodiagnostics Department Supervisor. Representing Roper St Francis in the City of Charleston Health and Wellness Committee. Co-Chair in Behavioral Health in The Healthy Tri-County program. Logistics chair in the Roper St Francis Leadership Development Institute that is promoted and presented three times a year. Professional Photographer and DJ/Emcee services for any event. Participated in diversity and inclusion practices and Chair of the Physician Diversity Subcommittee. Initiated and implemented the first Opioid Overdose with Narcan training in the RSF System. Initiated and help build 4 pain management systems, and 1 Imaging Center, and now currently supervising RSF Pain Clinic where we help many people through their hardest times. Helped RSFH achieve RN Magnet Status for the third time in a row! Also helped this department through Joint Review Accreditation and exceed DHEC and OSHA standards. I’ve also been the Clinical Instructor for 2 hospitals, won best Instructor and taught for TTC and Miller-Motte colleges. I also volunteered with the Charleston County Fire & Rescue Squad and became one of their Chiefs responsible for managing 55 volunteers and their efforts, including organizing and placing rescue resources for 4 hurricanes effecting Charleston/Berkeley/Dorchester Counties. Also, volunteered and managed volunteers with the AHA, MS Society, multiple Cancer Societal events, and various events for Roper St Francis.
