About Meredith Blount

I joined TriUnity as Senior Counsel with over a decade of experience working with early-stage companies in the life-science industry. Prior to joining TriUnity Law Group, I served as Associate General Counsel at uniQure, Inc, a publicly traded multinational company researching and manufacturing gene therapies, where I managed uniQure’s Legal team operations and provided legal advice to internal partners at all levels within the organization, supporting day-to-day initiatives as well as long-term strategies. Prior to uniQure, I served as Corporate Counsel at Foundation Medicine, Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Roche Diagnostics, supporting their Commercial team on fraud-and-abuse matters. Prior to going in-house, I served as Counsel at VLP Law Group, and Associate at Goodwin Proctor, Cooley, and Gunderson Dettmer. At each firm, I specialized in corporate, securities, and business law for emerging growth companies in the life science and technology sectors. I have represented clients on start-up and formation matters, corporate governance, seed and venture capital financing, public offerings, buy- and sell-side M&A, licensing, and other general corporate matters in the industries of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostics, biotechnology, digital media, social media, and e-commerce, amongst others. I've led and managed corporate restructurings, and managed and closed domestic and international (Spain, Brazil, Sweden, India, Australia, the Netherlands) equity and debt financings, and M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating all transactional documents, building financial payout models, conducting due diligence, and managing state and federal securities compliance. I have also acted as investors’ and underwriters’ counsel in connection with private and public financings. I hold a Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School, a Master of Science in Finance from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami’s School of Business. I'm admitted to the bar in New York, California, and Massachusetts.
