About Meredith Gordon

As an accomplished top performer, I define strategies, processes, and solutions that advance the achievement of program and operational goals for government agencies, private sector and non-profit organizations. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated expertise in optimizing safety and security in diverse settings, including leading data analytics and strategic planning to support at-risk populations. In 2023, I established and grew a consulting agency to bridge the gap between law enforcement agencies and community resources for the management of emergency response for individuals experiencing age-related issues, cognitive disorders, mental illness, homelessness, veteran-specific challenges, substance abuse, domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, and other vulnerabilities. Earlier examples of my work include:+ Completed 500+ federal background investigations, determining the suitability of individuals to receive security clearances and access to sensitive/classified US government information for intelligence and aerospace defense agencies.+ Spearheaded the implementation of a disaster plan and response effort that spanned 9 offices and 32 countries; the plan was later used as a template for other regional offices across the US.+ Partnered with Philadelphia Police Department executives in overhauling the department’s missing person processes and protocols for individuals with dementia and assisted in implementing training material for personnel.+ Served as a member of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional Task Force- Functional Needs Sub-Committee, planning the attendance of individuals with dementia and their caregivers to a Papal visit to Philadelphia. Leveraging a Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security, focusing on Public Health Preparedness from Penn State University, and numerous certifications including EMT-B, Firefighter I, and Homeland Security I, I bring an analytical and hands-on approach to safety management, emergency planning, and strategic consulting. My work has consistently been recognized for its quality, precision, and impact—whether through developing strategic emergency response plans, conducting sensitive background investigations, or training first responders on specialized crisis response techniques.
