When people ask why I have chosen a career in marketing I reference this quote “Our job is to connect to people, to interact with them in a way that leaves them better than we found them; more able to get where they’d like to go.” In my 10+ years in retail marketing, that has been my mission. To champion and evolve iconic brands to attract new customers, communicate ongoing value and product/service updates to existing customers, and utilizes our loyal advocates to amplify the voice of our brand. As an Albertan, I am proud to be part of the Breathe Outdoors team- a locally founded, operated and owned outdoor lifestyle retailer. Our goal is to be your guide to creating meaningful, spirit-filling moments in the great outdoors. Regardless of your skill level. My passion and commitment for marketing has helped me establish roots as their Director of Marketing. And working for companies that vary in size, from small business to large corporations, has allowed me to grow and develop my marketing, content, strategy, budgeting and analytics skills in- paid digital media- organic social media- broadcast- flyer (print and digital)- direct mail- integrations- experiential marketing and event planning- OOH.
