About Meredith Ketchmark

As an empathetic and mission-driven professional, Meredith seeks to build connections within her community in order to increase knowledge and understanding, promote well-being and tolerance, and build resilience. In her current position at the New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics, Meredith serves as the Senior Program Manager for New Jersey SEEDlings: Supporting Equity in Early Development. This program aims to improve the way pediatric primary care is delivered by enhancing the capacity of New Jersey's early childhood workforce to deliver equitable and high-quality early childhood development (ECD) services that meet the needs of young children and their families. Prior to joining the team at NJAAP, Meredith spent nearly nine years working at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. As a core member of the Education Programs Team, Meredith helped to manage, create, implement and evaluate of an array of educational programs including guided tours and school workshops, in-house and external professional development conference sessions, as well as virtual tours and teacher programs. Working as an informal educator allowed Meredith to remain connected with her love of teaching and building connections with others while also honing her skills in program management, development, and assessment. Meredith is a true team player and excels when given the opportunity to collaborate alongside others. She is an excellent communicator and an empathetic listener and is always eager to dive into any new task that is handed to her. Her passion for upholding missions and values, as well as her willingness to help others to find greater meaning in the world around them, is what motivates her in her work every day.
