About Meredith Lyman

I am looking for an organization where I can help to make a difference in the lives of those need. I am experienced in working with both adults and youth, at risk/unhoused individuals, learning/developmentally challenged individuals, those struggling with addiction and new comers to Canada. I am proficient in MS office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc. I also have my certification in nonviolent crisis intervention and ASSIST (suicide intervention) as well as my First aid (C class) and CPR training up to date. I have my police vulnerable sector check and am triple vaccinated. I am looking for any position where I can help people through community programs/not for profit organizations. I am trained in assessing the physical and mental needs of clients and goal setting for their future. I am competent in referring clients to other agencies and supports. I am able to assess and evaluate a client’s progress as well as update client databases. I am also a classically trained fine artist and very much enjoy blending this strength with my social service skills through art therapy.
