About Meredith McQuaid

I served as the senior international officer at the University of Minnesota for 15 years, adjusting successfully to the pandemic and tremendous changes to the profession of international education. I lead a tremendously talented team of experienced international educators to transform the University into a truly comprehensively internationalized one. I worked with students, faculty, staff and senior leadership to advance the University's agenda at home and abroad, and to ensure that every graduate was globally ready to take her place in the world. I have held leadership positions at the national level in international education, and have been successful at developing people, programs and partnerships with organizations around the world. I am currently self-employed as a consultant in international education, professional development, and public speaking. My clients range from individuals to teams of people, to international education units in higher education.
