About Meredith Rom
After graduating from New York University with a BFA in Photography & Design, I completed my yoga teacher training in Mexico at Yandara Yoga Institute. I studied nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City and traveled in India for 6 months visiting spiritual teachers, practicing yoga and attending meditation retreats. I studied with Anusara and Yin yoga teachers in the Bay Area to form my own style of hatha flow and yin yoga. I meditate daily in the style of Vipassana meditation (as taught by S.N. Goenka). I now live in Sonoma County where I see clients one-on-one for yoga instruction and coaching and lead programs for women online. I host a podcast called Rising Women Leaders and I also write a weekly insights blog at http://meredithrom.com My book,"Just Be," a memoir of my travels in India was published by She Writes Press in August 2017.
