About Meredith Smith

With a keen focus on student formation, leadership development, and assessment, Meredith currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Director of Residence Life at Fairfield University, the Modern Jesuit Catholic University. She is also an Adjunct Faculty member in the Graduate School of Education and Human Development for the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership Program—Higher Education track. Meredith is honored to be in the ranks of #JesuitEducated leaders. She recently completed all required coursework for the Ph.D. at Fordham University's Center for Catholic School Leadership and Faith-Based Education in the Graduate School of Education. She is embarking on dissertation research with a target completion date of December 2025. Ad majórem Dei glóriam. Meredith loves New England. She enjoys connecting with new colleagues and friends from Wellesley College, the University of Maryland, Fairfield University, Fordham University and the American Jesuit Colleges & Universities network.
