About Meredith White

From a young age I expressed a great curiosity towards the workings of the world around me. My predisposition towards the sciences led me to the University of Saskatchewan, where I took particular interest in crop biotechnology and plant genetics. I achieved my BSc. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology with distinction and was offered a position as a research assistant to Peter Phillips, a well known figure in Biotech, which I had to decline due to moving cities. I would go on to work various roles leading from environmental chemistry to mining geochemistry. Over the years I have developed a high level of skill in many areas ranging from wet chemistry (various types of inorganic chemistry preparation and ICP instrument operation) to data management and analysis. In addition to my experience and education, I have also gained strong interpersonal skills along the way which ultimately led to my current role as laboratory manager.
