About Meredydd Hardie

I love helping clients understand how people, communities and culture intersect. The intelligence generated from understanding those intersections helps inform everything from risk management and crisis communications approaches, to strategies that move with culture and deeper connections with our audiences. In 2008, I built the global social listening practice for one of the largest digital agencies in the world and helped define what social listening meant as a discipline within research. As one of the earliest super-users of emergent social listening tools, the work was defined by innovating new ways to collect, distill, understand and present social conversations as a way of broadening audience understanding. These insights have been at the heart of some of the most ground-breaking digital and social strategies. My background in market research enables project teams to seamlessly marry traditional research methodologies with new ways of observing consumer behaviour to reveal opportunities to more deeply engage them. Today I focus understanding signals from a wide variety of sources - digital, social, market research, data - and using those signals to build Intelligence deliverables that help clients stay ahead of the market.
