About Merin Markose

From the intricate logic of embedded systems to the vast landscapes of big data, my journey has always been driven by one question: How can we make complex systems speak a language we all understand? My background in Electronics & Communication Engineering gave me the technical foundation to build, whether it was designing modular software for elevators at Delta or creating surveillance robots using Python and OpenCV. But I soon discovered that my true passion lies in the "why" behind the data.During my time at Cognizant, I managed database operations for Cambridge University, learning how critical data integrity is to global institutions. Later, at Accenture, I found my stride in data storytelling—transforming seven distinct datasets into interactive Power BI dashboards that turn raw numbers into strategic roadmaps. What sets me apart is my love for teaching. As a STEM Educator, I’ve had the joy of breaking down algorithmic thinking for children and tutoring university peers in advanced electronics. I believe if you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough. This philosophy guides every report I build and every database I manage. Why connect with me?Data Expertise: Proficient in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), Power BI, and Tableau.Engineering Mindset: Experienced in C/C++, Embedded Linux (Yocto), and Circuit Design.Global Collaborator: Fluent in English, Malayalam, French, and Hindi, with a focus on remote and international teamwork.I am currently seeking new opportunities in Data Analysis, IT Support, or STEM Education within the Dubai market and beyond. I’m eager to bring my blend of analytical rigour and empathetic communication to a forward-thinking team.Let’s connect and build something meaningful together!
