My passion is to help people and businesses take the next step. As a diving instructor, I guide people on their first amazing journeys into the wonders of the big blue ocean. As a volunteer worker, I help them get their personal finances in order. And as that curious financial guy coming up with solutions, I make clients happy by helping their businesses take a step forward. This is how I sum up my job: I cut through the numbers to present a clear storyline. I suss out root causes, find common ground between stakeholders, and help them strengthen their businesses’ financials and reporting. This is how I create value for my clients. I am driven by delivering results, and have no time for endless meetings that leave you wondering why you’re there in the first place. On the contrary, I thrive on getting things done together with and through a team of skilled and enthusiastic team mates. I facilitate my team mates. Seeing them flourish and perform to the best of their potential makes me happy. Pragmatic and result-driven work is my name, and open and caring communication my game. In my 10+ years of experience, I advised both private equity and large and mid-cap corporate clients on M&A due diligence, reporting & control, restructuring and financing engagements. In all this time, I have always been guided by my drive to understand and shape the story behind the numbers. Some of my proudest moments include helping struggling companies recover by finding investors with fresh new ideas, hearing entrepreneurs enthusiastically say they put my advice to good use, and helping them realise the well-earned exits they spent their careers building.
