About Merrill Gratton

With over three decades of experience in vocational education and training, I am a passionate and skilled Co President of SAHBA, a prominent industry association in South Australia. I lead the organisation's efforts to champion excellence in the local hair and beauty sector, prioritising education, professional growth, and industry advocacy. I strive to boost the prosperity of hairdressers, barbers, and beauty professionals as well as businesses in the area, by providing them with access to resources, networking opportunities, and support. As a Strategic Programs Manager for the largest Beauty RTO in Australia, The French Beauty Academy, I oversee the development and delivery of innovative and high-quality courses and programs. I leverage my strong background in vocational education and organisational development, as well as my industry experience as a hairdresser and technician for L'Oreal, to create engaging and relevant learning experiences for students and educators. I am a proficient facilitator, teacher trainer, manager, and project leader, with a keen interest in advancing the standards and reputation of the hair and beauty sector.
