After 23 years as an Insurance Broker and Agent in personal lines, I have made the move to underwriting and am learning a different side of the business. After training as a Personal Lines Underwriter, handling hard to place homes, standalone seasonal, rental, and vacant property risks as well as Personal Umbrella, I've moved to our High Value Home program. Premier has flexible rules and guidelines that allow unique situations and difficult risks to be placed. Gaps in insurance, claims, a private mortgage, renting out part or all of a property through a short term rental, etc - these are all situations that we can consider. In my spare time I crochet and cross-stitch, read voraciously, travel, and avoid cooking/cleaning.
