During my 12+ years as a Marketing Manager, CMO, and COO at Car Next Door & Uber Carshare, I've worn many hats and experienced so much. What started as Australia's first peer-to-peer carsharing platform in just four Sydney suburbs grew into a national success story. Throughout this journey, I navigated the challenges of scaling a company while building a purpose-driven team that consistently delivered results. We raised capital, weathered a pandemic, became profitable, and achieved an exciting milestone when Uber acquired us in 2022. After the acquisition, we integrated our team, rebranded, scaled the business further, and expanded internationally. Though the business closed in late 2024, it was an incredible journey filled with incredible experiences. What's next for me? After taking some time to recharge with my family, I'm energized and ready for my next challenge.
