About Mert Emcan

I started my career at PwC where I worked as a member of the audit staff, participating in numerous audit assignments together with various due diligence, valuation and management consultancy projects as well as the firm recruitment process. I later joined the Human Advisory Services within the same firm, where I acted as a senior consultant and project manager. In I joined a retail company as a Director, responsible for all support functions as well as business development. Leaving there after two years, I briefly worked as a freelance consultant, specialising in the fields of search and selection, mass recruitment, organisational design and business development, for financial services, service and FMCG industries before joining Oxygen and Stanton Chase. As Partner, managing the Finance Team, I was in charge of all financial services and finance function assignments. In 2011, I returned to PwC and worked in People & Organisation as Director, leading the Human Resources Consulting Practice, delivering end-to-end HR solutions from strategy to execution covering a broad range of capabilities. Focusing especially on culture, leadership, organization, HR transformation and change management, I was also the Alumni Relations Leader between 2011-2015, PwC Europe HR Technology & Transformation Leadership Team member, and PwC EMEA Advisory University head trainer. Since the beginning of 2021, I started out on a new journey with the purpose of delivering independent, agile, outside the box and value driven support for organizations and people to become better version of themselves and co-founded Moodivation, a HR Tech start up aiming to measure and improve the human experience at the workplace. I am a graduate of Middle Eastern Technical University, Department of International Relations and I am fluent in English.
