About Meryn Winters

I have an MA in Museum and Artefact Studies from Durham University and a BA from the University of King’s College where I Double Majored in History and Classics. I am currently working as a Database Coordinator at the Royal Ontario Museum. I am organized and able to multi-task, with strong time-management skills and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. Dedicated, resourceful and well-travelled, I have worked in a variety of environments both within Canada and abroad. My love of reading, and my degrees, have deepened my knowledge and passion for history. My previous work in retail and copious use of the local library has enabled me to deepen my knowledge by researching historical events while learning new things; and previous volunteer work at museums and other non-profits has expanded my skills while putting them into practice. I look forward to expanding and building on these skills into the future.
