Highly accomplished and dedicated Machine Safety Manager with over 7 years of progressive experience in machinery safety, compliance, and engineering across the EMEA region. Currently leading and coordinating Machinery Safety activities at DOW Chemicals B.V, with a focus on developing and maintaining global Machine Risk Assessment (MRA) standards and ensuring alignment with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.My responsibilities include managing vendor relations, ensuring supplier compliance with DOW's safety standards and project objectives, and contributing to project management tasks, including timeline tracking and technical documentation review. I am also responsible for providing training and mentoring to MRA facilitators and global teams.My background includes key consultancy and safety project engineering roles at OMRON Industrial Automation and PILZ Turkey. In these roles, I delivered engineering and project management services across Turkey and Eastern Europe, conducted detailed risk assessments, and commissioned/programmed safety PLCs.Equipped with a solid technical foundation (BSc in Mechatronics Engineering) and strategic business acumen (Master of Business Administration - MBA). I hold certifications in Project Management Training and Team Management Training, in addition to critical safety standards (CMSE, EN ISO 12100, EN ISO 13849).
