About Metta Pranata

Metta began her career as a reporter for an Indonesian-Chinese community magazine in 2010. After a year, she moved to a national newspaper company as a lifestyle reporter. In 2012, Metta was offered a position as an advertorial copywriter at a leading online news portal. Along the way, she was entrusted to lead a small team and became the copywriter coordinator at the company. An opportunity then came from a startup in the online travel agency business. She decided to take on the challenge and joined as a web content writer in 2016. There, she learned a lot about SEO, UI/UX, and blogging for a year and a half. In 2018, she moved to a market-leading hardware and home improvement retail company. After almost five years building experience in digital marketing—especially content, media, and ads—she accepted a new challenge. She is now growing her career in the EV industry through a Singaporean-founded startup. Although the experience was brief, it opened up new opportunities for her at another two-wheeler EV company. Together with talents from multiple nationalities, she helped grow the brand’s presence and significantly increased its loyal fan base through well-crafted social media content that was not only creative and aligned with the brand identity, but also resonated with the needs of the Indonesian market.
