About Mhari Dell

I have recently achieved a significant academic milestone by completing a PhD in Applied Mathematics at Imperial College London. My doctoral research centred around developing a mathematical framework to explore the intricate relationship between the troposphere and the stratosphere, with a particular focus on investigating the influence of Rossby wave reflection events on weather and climate dynamics. Prior to my PhD, I successfully earned an MRes, MSc, and BSc in Mathematics, during which my achievements were recognised through prizes for the best work in second and third-year Mathematics.I enjoy immersing myself in different languages and have achieved proficiency in French, reaching a B2 level of fluency. Additionally, I actively engage with and contribute to my local community. I proudly volunteer at my local food bank once a fortnight. I also spent a year working as an English Conversation Club Leader, providing valuable language support to those seeking to enhance their communication skills.Beyond my academic pursuits, I enjoy outdoor adventure sports such as climbing and gravel riding.
