About Mia Abram
I am a clinical dietitian in Phoenix, AZ covering the surgical ICU, medical oncology, and trauma surgery floors of county hospital. As for long term goals, I have a lot of interests. I would like to work clinically in the US within hospital systems, though public health fieldwork abroad, focused on malnutrition, is something I have not been able to pull myself away from. I am also considering teaching, down the line once I've amassed enough experience to guide the future generations of dietitians. I am an alumnus of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where, in 2019, I received a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition Science with a minor in Biology and, in 2021, a Master's of Science in Nutrition. Here, I worked under the advisory of Dr. Kari Pilolla on the ReCHARGE with Strawberries project since 2018. I completed my dietetic internship at UCSF Health as a part of the class of 2022.
