About Mia Andreae

As a third-year Finance major at the University of Florida, I am passionate about understanding how companies grow and manage capital through strategic financial solutions. I’m particularly drawn to corporate banking for its intersection of credit analysis, market insight, banking, and client strategy. Through the Corporate Banking Track in UF’s Finance Professional Development Program, I’ve developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, company research, restructuring proposals, and risk assessment. These experiences have deepened my interest in how lenders evaluate businesses and support long-term growth. Additionally, the Florida Leadership Academy has helped me strengthen my leadership and communication skills while learning to collaborate effectively with peers from diverse backgrounds. It’s been a valuable part of my development both professionally and personally. Motivated by curiosity and a drive to create meaningful impact, I enjoy tackling complex problems and learning through hands-on experience. I’m excited to pursue a career in corporate banking where I can apply my financial knowledge, strategic thinking, and collaborative mindset to help businesses grow and make informed financial decisions.
