Hello there! I’m passionate about realizing potential and leading teams from their current state to meet evolving and future demands. How- By starting with a solutions-driven, ‘can do’ approach - By connecting the right people and ideas - By making sure there is a common understanding of success - By clearing the roadblocks so the team can forge ahead - By listening to understand - By being wrong and course correcting - By sharing wins and learning - By having fun I have used these (and many other) strategies as a leader in the private, public and not for profit sectors. I have worked in large institutions (Environment and Climate Change Canada) and as an executive board member for small community daycares. I have worked in established companies (Abbott Point of Care, i-STAT) and high-growth driven businesses (Canopy Growth Corporation) and now I am very proud to be supporting customers at Growcer. I have built new teams, led existing and managed a cultural transformation. I have worked with national and international stakeholders to develop new air pollution regulations and within a national company to launch new cannabis products. My teams have ranged in size from 3 to over 150 with a budget of over $5 million. … what about when I’m not working? There are many things I love to do! On top of the list is spending time with my family, preferably eating French fries after a hike, cross country ski or bike ride. I also love hosting friends for drinks or to share a meal. When I need some quiet time, you’ll find me running, reading, or baking (I’m sure you can guess what option my family prefers!).
