About Mia Bond

Growing up in a small school where I found comfort in knowing everyone, moving to college at New York University was more than just an adjustment. As such, I came to understand the importance of change and placing myself in new and diverse situations as an opportunity to learn and grow. Now, entering my third year as a political science and English literature double major and self-identified pre-law student, I am committed to accepting new challenges and pursuing learning everyday. Because of my experience this summer as an intern at the City Attorney’s Office of a municipal government, I am eager to begin working towards a career in law. As I worked on two projects, I was able to advance my research, writing and communication skills, collaborating with a small team to resolve difficulties and provide clarity. Throughout my time as an intern, I developed a new interest in policy, government procedure, and its importance to serving the public. Being passionate about service and helping people, I see my future self working in the public sector, and am dedicated to any opportunity to grow and improve my skills towards this goal. As such, I am ready to take on different challenges and am open to learning in a variety of fields.
