About Mia Chan

As a fashion management student at Institut Français de la Mode (IFM), I am passionate about learning the business and creative aspects of the fashion industry. I have completed the Inside LVMH Certificate, a program that exposes me to the values, strategies, and innovations of the leading luxury group in the world. I have also gained hands-on experience as a marketing intern at I.T, a multi-brand fashion retailer that carries brands such as Balenciaga, Celine, Alexander McQueen, and more. I worked as part of the social media team, creating post content, communicating with key opinion leaders, assisting with photoshoots, and analyzing social media data. I also had the opportunity to be a dresser for Paloma Wool and Enfant Riches Deprimes during the Paris Fashion Week, where I learned the details and care of each piece and the process and run-throughs of the fashion shows. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel, advertising, and public relations, and I am always eager to learn new skills and tools to enhance my marketing abilities. I am fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), and I have a beginner level in French, Spanish, and Korean. I am looking for opportunities to apply my knowledge and skills to the fashion industry, and to contribute to the growth and success of fashion brands.
