About Mia Lamm

As an Instructional Designer at the Center for Teaching and Learning, Mia provides pedagogical support, course design, professional development training, and evaluation services to The Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health and School of Medicine faculty. She acts as project manager, partnering with the CTL production team of instructional designers and technologists, web developers, audio and video producers, technical writers, and others, to coordinate workflow for lecture artifacts and materials. Mia has a background in information organization, information literacy, online pedagogy, and instructional technology. She holds an M.S. in Library and Information Studies and an M.S. in Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies from Florida State University. Her research areas of interest are student engagement and collaborative learning in digitally-mediated environments.
