About Mia Munro

Currently in my fourth year of my Bachelor of Law (Hons) degree at the University of Auckland, studying a range of public and private law focused courses. Outside of academics, I am on the executive team of the Environmental Law Students Association as a Marketing Lead and the Sustainable Future Collective as an Events Lead. For the past three years, I was also part of the Equal Justice Project Pro Bono team. I worked in this team as both a researcher and editor on bodies of work aimed at improving community legal access and information. Examples of this work include, aiding UN submissions, academic textbooks and community resources. Outside of University you’ll find me running, hiking and travelling. Previously, I have completed NCEA level 3 with excellence endorsement at St Peter’s Cambridge, where I was also apart of the lacrosse, squash and debating teams. While at St Peter’s I received three top subject prizes in Media Studies, Scholars Tie, Academic excellence badge and Scholars medal.
