About Mia Parish

I am a trauma nurse with almost 5 years of experience as an assistant nurse manager, charge nurse, preceptor, and Unit Practice Council chair at a Level 1 Trauma center, teaching hospital, and Magnet hospital in Seattle, WA. Through these roles, I have developed my leadership and communication skills, allowing me to provide high-quality patient care and shape the practice of new nurses for the better. I am knowledgeable in the care of patients with a variety of medical-surgical diagnoses, including specialties such as orthopedics, general surgery, gender-affirming surgery, medicine, urology, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, and plastic surgery. While I have enjoyed my work in these areas, I am looking to transition into a women's health nursing position. For some time, I have been passionate about this field as I strongly believe that women's health is critical to the overall health and well-being of society. I am eager to make an impact in this area and use my skills and experience to deliver exceptional care to women of all ages and backgrounds.
