About Mia Redic

As a former Resident Assistant at Loyola University Chicago, I provide support and guidance to over 50 upperclass students living in the dorms, while pursuing my degree in Forensic Science with a minor in Computer Crime and Forensics. I have over four years of experience as a Summer Recreation Leader at the Chicago Park District, where I planned and led activities for children and teens in various parks and facilities. I also volunteered as a Student Mentor for Girls Who Code, a nonprofit organization that aims to close the gender gap in technology, where I helped young girls learn coding and develop their confidence and creativity. In the summer of 2021, I interned at Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP, a law firm that specializes in complex litigation and investigations, where I assisted with research, analysis, and the planning of the Autonomous Vehicle Symposium. I have developed strong skills in time management, presentations, and research, as well as a passion for justice and innovation. My goal is to apply my knowledge and skills to help solve cybercrime and protect vulnerable communities.
