About Mia Rossi
In 2021, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. During my undergraduate career I had the opportunity to work in an MRI guided research laboratory which focused on comparing speech and hearing feedback. That quickly developed my interest in medical imaging. Post graduation I attended the MRI Program at the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences and eventually became certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. I discovered similarities between my degree in speech science and and the role of an MRI technologist such as interacting with patients, utilizing analytical skills, and observing human anatomy and pathophysiology. I have gained valuable research, leadership, and patient care experience and I am looking forward to bringing those skills to my next workplace.
