About Mia Siemon

Something about me is that I am a generalist. On one hand, there is software development and the creation of things from scratch, seeing them evolve and improve by applying constantly emerging optimization techniques whilst always adding a pinch of extraordinary innovation utilizing my creative mindset. On the other hand, there is the knowledge about mathematical modelling concepts which allows me to draft, implement and analyze performances of a wide range of algorithms in the fields of (process) optimization techniques, traditional image recognition, computer vision and artificial intelligence. Yes – I have a knack for numbers, calculus and linear algebra. From a more personal perspective, I love working with people, listening to what they have to say, learning from them and sharing my own knowledge and experience – no matter the size of the audience. In total, my educational and professional paths have led me through five countries on three continents. Having these two evident personalities is what makes me exceptional: Talking about code, math and future opportunities in IT shows how passionately nerdy and technically versatile I am. On the other side of the coin you will find a very sociable and warm female who brings people together and who is capable of adding the (creative) finishing touch to a project.
