About Mia Tayar

Currently as a QC Specialist/Flow Cytometry Technologist at Cellenkos, I am a key figure for day-to-day lab operations and the point of contact for equipment QC support. I perform regularly scheduled QC on instruments and equipment while also managing the scheduling of vendors to perform preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is at optimal performance. I demonstrates technical proficiency in analytical methodology and adhere to GMP and FDA compliances. In addition to QC responsibilities, I also participate in qualification and validation studies where I perform cell counting, endotoxin testing, and mostly Flow Cytometry. The technical reports I generate through analyzing data gathered through these tests are critical to understanding the in-process/finished product, stability samples, and process development experiments. Beyond technical proficiency, I excel in fostering collaboration across different teams, working closely with manufacturing managers, process development scientists, and quality assurance personnel in order to improve production.
