About Miah Suemul

I have over 6 years of experience working in external Audit for both manufacturing and service based client's and it was within audit where I obtained my ACA certificate and became a chartered accountant. This experience exposed me to a number of clients all of which reported under either UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS and US GAAP. My final role in audit was an Audit Manager, where I was able to lead my own teams myself, I was given line manager duties and I also got involved with recruitment and mentoring different members of different teams. I have since left my audit career behind me and decided to make the move into industry. I currently work as the Head of Financial Reporting for GB Partenrships and this has given me alot of experience in a number of different areas. I am one of the primary contacts for the complex consolidation and I also get exposure to various different tasks involved in running the business. I am currently doing my CTA exams and I am keen to get more involved with the key tax elements. I am very enthusiastic to see where my career will go with GB Partnerships.
