About Micaela Hofer

In my Physician Assistant program, I completed fifteen months of didactic education, volunteered with the American Red Cross, and completed nine clinical rotations, including two emergency medicine rotations and an elective rotation in Cardiology. Prior to PA school, I attended the University of North Carolina and received a B.A. in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. At the University of North Carolina, I was an active member of Alpha Chi Omega, a student board member of Carolina's Order of the Bell Tower, and an active volunteer at UNC's Student Health Action Coalition which sought to provide uninsured individuals access to healthcare. Throughout college, I also worked at The Cedars of Chapel Hill Retirement Community and at UNC Hospital as a nursing assistant. I have always had a passion for helping people, and my goal is to provide the best patient care possible. I look forward to working as a member of a health care team as a Physician Assistant.
