Micaela is an Operations Excellence consultant. She supports our Transportation and Operations practices. She has 17+ years in aviation and aerospace and specializes in operational improvement, Lean implementation, and project management. Relevant Experience Micaela specializes multi-year operational transformation programs and continuous improvement (CI) culture change delivery. Successes include: For a European based air cargo operator, led the implementation of continuous improvement as part of a three-year operational transformation program. – For an Australian rail operator, led the implementation of value improvement opportunities across the maintenance program, supply chain, planning, and shop floor execution to deliver savings over a five-year period. – For a global logistics air carrier, led the development and implementation of an operating system for the Line Maintenance function, from planning to execution of work, using TOC to reduce out-of-service time and the need for spare aircraft. – For an air medical helicopter operator, Micaela developed organizational strategy for MRO operations and identified maintenance opportunities to improve in-service rates and reduce out-of-service events. – For a North American parts distributor, she improved on-time delivery performance and reduced customer complaints through the utilization of Theory of Constraints. Prior to joining OW CAVOK, Micaela served in lead roles in Lean manufacturing and CI for United Technologies in their aerospace and commercial businesses.
