About Micaela Vecchi

have 5 years of experience (in a start-up company part of a major Italian pharmaceutical Group) like District Manager, in managing a group where as a part of the team are product specialist (ortopedics and rheumatologist) and the other part sales representatives (pediatricians, lung specialists and MMG) covering the area of Lazio, Tuscany and Sardinia; and I have the full responsibility for the sales of medical devices. My work also consists on focusing Key Account management, and Market Access, in order to achieve solid partnerships with decision makers at various levels (clinicians, universities, etc.) to support the implementation of clinical care pathways in partnership with regions or hospitals. I interface with all key stakeholders to create awareness about the products already on the market and those in pre-launch, in order to facilitate their integration into the Regional Therapeutic Handbooks. Before being DM I also was product manager (pediatric and respiratory area) with the responsibility of marketing for company’s products (Prescription Drugs, Medical Devices, Nutraceutics) and attending regularly to National Congresses.
