About Micah Carter

Bio:A deep curiosity for personal finance and a desire to make an impact in the lives of others brought me to Edward Jones. Prior to my career in financial services, I attended the University of Western Carolina and graduated with a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship. Upon graduating I worked as a real estate agent for 3 years assisting clients with the complexities of a home purchase. I encountered many of the complications that come with making large financial decisions. Through real estate, I found a passion for helping others. It was here that I decided to find a way to provide assistance through a lifetime of financial decisions for my clients and not just a single transaction. After making this decision my wife and I headed to Jacksonville, FL while I worked with Merrill Lynch for a year. From here, I was presented with the opportunity to join Edward Jones and have been blessed to serve the community with this role.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, running, hiking, traveling, fly fishing, and snowboarding. On weekends we attend a local church and love to relax at the lake or by a nice mountain stream.
