About Micah Fair

I have over 19 years of experience working in Software Development. Currently, I am working as a Software Developer for Ciber Global tasked to resolving requests from ad hoc reports to a complete application rewrite where I participate in most of the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). All but 4 years of my career in the North East has involved an 8a company and a federal contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. For a few years I spent working as a consultant where I was awarded the privilege to work with and learn from highly-experienced, Business Intelligence professionals. From all of my experiences, I became proficient with collaborating with end users, system analysis and design, relational database design and administration, and the creation of test cases for quality assurance. And frequently throughout it, I have been confronted with learning newer technologies through the use of online resources such as stackoverflow.com, tutorials and/or online courses such as pluralsight.com. I am keeping my eye out for a Software Developer position closer to the Lafayette area to reduce my weekly commute time and costs. I am a hardworking individual who enjoys to be challenged and provided the opportunity to learn and experience new technologies for the benefit of the company as well as my own personal growth.
