Not to get to overly introspective but here goes. The past 16 years have been nothing short of a blur as I am sure many of us would say the same thing, never mind the complexity of trying to summarize that in 2600 characters. Out of high school I went on to start a four year degree in engineering, seemed logical as the years working with my grandfather as a builder seemed to point that direction, however life it seemed had other plans as I had an opportunity to work as an electrician and being several years in to a degree I wasn't all that enthusiastic about I jumped at the chance and spent 12 years doing so culminating in running a successful company right up to the financial issues of 07 and 08. After shutting the company down in 2010 and being married to an Aussie Girl fate took another turn and I found myself living in Oz where after much trouble being trade recognized I took on the opportunity to start an import/export business that was in short a life's dream job which I ran for 5 years. The opportunity to move in to sales full time was another chance encounter and I am the first to admit I had no business in that role, but again God had other plans and I have not looked back since. I have worked in such diverse and amazing industries and had the chance to see things 99% of the population probably never will, how we build things, what we eat, the process and equipment to make it all possible has been the highlight of my career to this point. Being back in the US now gives me a chance to further my development in a field that is challenging, inspiring, full of anger and frustration, an industry where I have seen my highest highs and at the same time some of my lowest lows, an industry I wouldn't change for anything. Maybe 2600 letters is enough after all.
