About Michael A. Campbell

As an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists, I specialize in routine and complex surgery of the foot and ankle, including minimally invasive surgery, sports injuries, bunion correction, deformity correction, and total ankle replacement. I completed my fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, my Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Geisigner Medical Center, and medical school at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Prior to medical school I was a licensed and practicing Physical Therapist. I currently provide Foot and Ankle Care for the Division I athletes at Old Dominion University and several of the surrounding universities. I have several patents related to foot and ankle hardware, and serve as a design surgeon and educator for several companies including DePuy-Synthes, and Crossroads.
