About Michael Addison

Strategic and collaborative leader with 30+ years’ experience driving change across public, private, and charitable sectors. I specialise in strategic planning, fundraising, organisational development, and community engagement, with a track record of building partnerships that deliver sustainable impact. As CEO of ecobirmingham, I secured over £3m to transform the charity’s reach and resilience. More recently, I’ve worked internationally with *Transition Network*, strengthening fundraising and grant-making systems that support climate and community resilience. My career has also spanned senior roles at Arts Council England and Bristol Debt Advice Centre, as well as founding Figment Theatre CIC, which delivered creative and environmental projects to over a million people. I’m passionate about leading teams, fostering collaboration, and supporting organisations that put people and planet first. Always open to connecting with changemakers and leaders working towards a fairer, more sustainable future. I am a UK national with French residency and I'm currently based in France and open to opportunities to working remotely from here with on-site visits where required.
