I am currently working as the Site Manager and Co-Owner of Kids R Kids Seven Lakes Preschool. Managing full day to day operations of children’s Preschool (ages 6 weeks – 12 years). Currently licensed for 416 children. Responsible for all aspects of small business management, including employment, marketing, facility maintenance, childcare regulations, customer relations, Franchisor relations, financials, etc. Managing staff of 45-50 employees. Increased enrollment by over 50% in first three years. Found new revenue streams while providing free childcare for less fortunate children through a partnership with TEA and the state of Texas to fund their private education. I previously spent over five and ½ years as a Production Engineer at Daikin North America. At Daikin, one of my first responsibilities was to oversee the plant layout and equipment transfer to the new state of art facility in Waller Tx. In addition, my responsibilities included supervision of multiple productions lines, including the design and creation of equipment to improve production. I worked with design engineers on new products including assembly tests on the line and once completed creation of the quality reports on the success of the latest changes. I received ECRs and ECNs to confirm the validity of the changes before going through production. Prior to my employment at Daikin, I spent one and ½ years as a Design Engineer for Hoover Container Solutions. At Hoover, I designed stainless steel EZ totes, containment basins, and assorted hardware using AutoCAD and Inventor software. The drawings I created would have a bill of materials and all the information needed to manufacture the assembly. I would issue ECRs at times when necessary. I would also assist the sales staff with quoting special customer projects and answering any questions about the products for the customers. While a student at UH, I worked as a part time contractor for Cameron Industries performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on special purpose valves and flanges. I also redesigned a floating gate valve to improve strength. I have been married for seven years to my wife, Amber. We currently have two sons, Luke (3) and Hunter (18 months).
