About Michael Aigner

The fascination of metals, the construction possibilities and their behaviour has been with me going back as far as I can remember. My apprenticeship as a locksmith (Metal technology metal processing) strengthened it still further. After my journeyman's examination I worked at ESW on a CNC machining centre for about three years (2008-2011). In 2011 I decided to learn more about metals and why different metals behave as I already knew they did from my experience. So I started a bachelor studies in mechanical engineering and in 2015 I started the master studies of advanced materials science. This master course brought me very close to the metals. Since July 2017 I have been a Research and Development Engineer at ESW, so the circle has closed. My passion for metals is still there and is growing every day.
